@Sean: Woot yeah i totally agree xD. Someone....:D

I don't think I might be able to work on the shirt because I might not have enough time to design it as my computer is down for now. Perhaps until PMR is over only then my computer will be fixed. By the way, I've heard that this year's YDP might have a low participation as compared to previous years. DU is having their church camp and it WILL clash during YDP. So we can't really expect many youths from DU to join us this year :(

We never reallt get many participants from DU anyway so i dont think them having their camp clashing with the YDP will really affect us that much.
As long as the Lim Ah Pin camp doesn't clash as well, then we should be okay this year. =)
About the shirts, i suggest u get jonah to help, as u earlier mentioned. Cause it would be a shame if this idea didn't work out this year.
I dont think u will have enough time to design the shirt and manufacture them if u only start after PMR. Honestly.
So don't give up on this just because ur computer gave up on u.
Dare to do, dare to be responsible.
If everyone contributes even a little of their effort towards this camp, i believe it can and will be successful. ;)
And just a footnote, stop worrying about whether the participation level will drop severely this year or what not. Oh ye of little faith.

I'll try to contact someone for the camp details.
But somehow i get the feeling that the camp is solely for the DU congregation.
I don't know, i could be mistaken.
I'll try to get more info about it. :)

Well, this isn't the case because if I'm not mistaken, Malacca CoC has been invited to join their camp. Bro. John Grub will be there as I know.
I don't have the details with me now but I believe other churches in Malaysia have recieved the letter as well. If there are no details up by this Sunday I will post them.
It is true that we don't get much participation from DU. If I'm not mistaken we had 2 members from DU for last year's YDP. Maybe we should book them earlier on for the next YDP :D
Haha, alright Justin I trust you :D
Yeah, I will get Jonah's help in doing up the shirt. Anyway, when do you want the design? My friends sell shirts for about, RM 13-15 each. So, I'm wondering if that cost will affect the fee for YDP.

Hey guys, please drop by the klang coc youth's website and give us your opinion by voting for ur favorite YDP poster.
Bro. Joel has put it a lot of time and effort into creating 10 magnificent posters for this years YDP, the least you guys could do is to help us pick one out to be printed and then distributed.
Here's the link. http://youths-kcoc.blogspot.com/2008/07/blog-post.html
The voting poles are on the right hand column sidebar. please let us know what u think. voting ends in 2 weeks. ;)

I most definitely hope the events don't clash.

During our business meeting here in Klang, unc. Steven would tell us youths, if we're gonna plan something, make sure it doesn't clash with any church programs.

So if these events clash, +.+ seriously.

This year seems abit busy. Perhaps churches should organize their camps and activities at different times of the year so that they keep the end-year holidays free for major events such as YDP.

Perhaps collaboration on the part of the leadership needs to be done. But hey, who am I to impose? hehe...

Err guys, Jonah and I have decided to take things abit serious about the shirt suggestion I made earlier. Now, were designing the shirt and hopefully it will be out by this week or the next. I've approached a shirt production shop and I figured out that the cost would be around RM12-16. But the problem is, how many should we print and whether everyone agrees on the idea.
For now, we suggested that around a 150 shirts be printed, but I'm not too sure if were able to cater to everyone's needs and wants. So, I'm trying to figure out about how many participants will be coming for this years YDP. The thing is, I've heard that some participants submit their name only a week before YDP begins. So, I need a really clear but rough figure about the amount we should produce.
Opinions please?

the YDP actually has a deadline for signing up. So like, after that deadline, you can get the number and add 10 to it, then print out that number.

as for the sizes... heh.

Alvin, I have sent you an email to your hotmail email being the one you use for email pertaining to the T-shirt printing.
Do be informed and check your email. Just something I thought you might want to know/consider about it.

I hope it happens! I'm looking forward to a YDP T!

Haha, surely I would love to make this a reality. I will try my very best to at least cater to the eyes of a 100-strong crowd during YDP. I hope my computer will be fixed soon so that I can put the ideas into concrete designs. I apologise for the lonnnnnngggggg delay that has happened due to the lack of a computer at my disposal. I am now trying to persuade my dad to repair the 'idiot-box', so guys, yeah I need your prayers. If the T's don't turn out to be a success I take all the blame and no, I don't want another person to do my dirty work. I will personally accept the fact that I will have to try harder next year and learn from the mistakes that I have made.
